A Signature Field Type is used to capture a signature in the mobile form.
Configuring the Signature Field Type
Simply drag and drop a Signature Field from the left-hand toolbar onto your Form page and configure it using the right-hand properties panel.
Capture Signature: Displays an inline drawing area for the user to enter their signature.
Contactless Capture allows signatures from other persons to be captured on their own devices through scanning a QR code that displays in this field. The signature is then downloaded by the app user during Form entry.
Is Personal Data: Indicates that data captured in this field may contain personal or sensitive data, which in turn can be anonymized when exported from the platform.
This feature can be very useful for excluding any sensitive or otherwise unwanted media files from being exported by a form connector set to send media files separately (signatures, for example). Simply check this box for any fields with media that you wish to exclude and check both the "Send Media Files Separately" and "Anonymize Personal Data" checkboxes on the associated form connector (see below).
